Oblikant Chair by Prostoria is a bold rethinking of the classic molded-plywood chair—recognizable at a glance for its iconic S-shaped silhouette and sculptural, architectural stance. Designed by Numen / For Use, Oblikant balances radical minimalism with everyday usability, creating a chair that looks like a statement piece yet works effortlessly in real interiors.

At the core is an expressive 2D molded plywood shell with pronounced curvature that gently follows the body. That geometry introduces a subtle elasticity and ergonomic support, delivering surprisingly comfortable seating from a rigorously reduced form—ideal for long dinners, focused work, and high-traffic hospitality settings alike.

Oblikant is designed as a family of variations, offering multiple base options—from stackable steel frames for efficient contract use to a more sculptural solid wood version for warmer residential or boutique environments. The line has also expanded to include upholstered versions in premium fabric/leather, adding softness and tactility while preserving the chair’s essential silhouette and adaptability for conference rooms, dining areas, and collaborative spaces.
