The Pera Wood Dowel Chair by B&T Design Studio is a modern upholstered chair that combines clean lines, everyday comfort, and a warm wood base in one refined silhouette. Designed by Alp Nuhoğlu in 2003, the Pera collection reflects a minimal design language focused on versatility, making it well suited to a wide range of hospitality, workplace, education, and commercial interiors.
Despite its simple profile, the chair’s scoop-shaped seat is designed to provide a high level of comfort. Its structure is made with injection-molded polyurethane foam over a steel frame, creating a durable shell built for long-term performance in high-use environments. The wood dowel base adds warmth and a more natural material expression, balancing the upholstered seat with a light, contemporary presence.
Part of the adaptable Pera collection, this version is available with multiple base options across the range and can be upholstered in any fabric or leather from the B&T Design collection, giving designers flexibility in texture, color, and finish.
