Alek Chair
The Alek Chair by B&T Design Studio is a refined wooden dining chair that combines sculptural form with everyday comfort. Designed by Alp Nuhoğlu in 2020, Alek is defined by its distinctive oval-shaped wooden frame, where the backrest and armrests are formed as a single continuous structure for a clean, unified look. Its cylindrical wooden legs extend diagonally from the armrest level to the floor, creating an elegant contrast with the softer, rounded shape of the back.
The warmth of wood plays a central role in the chair’s visual identity, complemented by a smooth seat cushion made with 70 mm soft foam for added comfort. The frame is available in solid ash wood finishes from B&T Design’s wood catalogue, while the seat can be customised in a rich selection of fabrics, textures, and colours to suit different interior styles.
