Designed by Tanju Özelgin in 2008, Spirit is shaped around the harmony of solid wood and upholstery, resulting in a chair that feels both sophisticated and welcoming in use.

Defined by its seamless transitions, the Spirit Chair stands out through a distinctive construction technique in which the upholstered seat and backrest are inserted into carefully milled channels in the solid wood frame. This detail creates a clean, integrated appearance with no visible joints between materials, highlighting the chair’s precision and quiet elegance.

The result is a versatile seating solution suited to high-end restaurants, cafés, modern dining spaces, and design-focused work environments.

Most NUANS seating is available in Customer’s Own Material (COM) and Customer’s Own Leather (COL). Please refer to the technical specs tab or our product booklets for detailed yardage requirements.

All COM/COL materials must be shipped directly to the NUANS warehouse for processing.
