Product information
Aura, designed by Danish studio Norm Architects, was created to be more than just a chair around a table. From the outset, the design was conceived as an integral part of a communal setting: an element capable of contributing to the atmosphere of the space and strengthening the sense of togetherness among those gathered around the table.
The design focuses on striking a balance between openness and protection. The backrest naturally envelops the body, offering comfort and a sense of intimacy, without appearing visually heavy or overpowering. The armchair thus maintains a light presence in the space, whilst providing generous and welcoming support.
Aura is designed to accommodate different ways of sitting over time. You can lean forward during a conversation or adopt a more relaxed posture: the seat supports both positions without imposing a rigid stance. This design flexibility makes it particularly suitable for settings where people spend long periods around a table, such as dining areas, meeting rooms and hospitality spaces.

The chair features a solid wood frame. The seat and backrest, which have a plywood core, are padded with polyurethane foam to ensure maximum comfort. Both are upholstered in fabric. The chair has polypropylene feet.
