adinne chair

Adinne is a sculptural wooden chair where solid geometry meets soft, human detail. Designed by Leonardo Rossano, it pairs a sturdy, solid wood frame with a refined leather backrest, creating a chair that feels architectural, elegant, and quietly expressive. Its clean form, flexible back support, and stackable design make it a beautiful fit for dining rooms, meeting spaces, hospitality interiors, and thoughtful communal environments.

Adinne by True Design is a contemporary wooden chair designed by Leonardo Rossano, shaped by the honest beauty of hand-drawn ideas and refined through precise material thinking. With its solid wood frame, curved plywood seat, and slender leather backrest, Adinne brings together structure, comfort, and sculptural presence in a beautifully balanced form.

The design plays with contrast: sturdy cylindrical legs create a grounded architectural look, while the leather backrest adds lightness, flexibility, and a refined tactile quality. This unique combination gives Adinne a distinctive personality without overwhelming the space, making it ideal for interiors that need warmth, elegance, and a strong design signature.

Created for dining areas, meeting rooms, hospitality settings, restaurants, cafés, offices, and communal spaces, Adinne offers both visual character and practical performance. Its offset leg positioning supports a memorable silhouette while also allowing the chair to stack, making it especially useful for contract environments where flexibility matters.

Available as a wooden chair or with a non-removable padded leather cushion, Adinne is a modern contract chair that blends craftsmanship, ergonomic comfort, and timeless material appeal. Elegant yet practical, minimal yet expressive, Adinne is designed for spaces where every detail matters.

SEE IT IN ACTION

Adinne is what happens when a wooden chair decides to be a little more poetic.
Strong legs? Absolutely. Clean geometry? Of course. But then comes that slim leather backrest — soft, elegant, flexible — giving the chair just enough attitude to stand out without showing off. It feels architectural from across the room and surprisingly welcoming once you sit down.
Designed by Leonardo Rossano for True Design, Adinne brings together solid wood, curved plywood, and leather in a way that feels thoughtful, modern, and beautifully human. It is the kind of chair that works hard in restaurants, meeting rooms, hotels, cafés, and shared spaces, but still looks like it belongs in a design magazine.
Even better, Adinne stacks. So yes, it is sculptural and practical. A rare little furniture unicorn.
The deliberately sturdy, solid wood legs give Adinne its grounded, architectural presence. Without a rigid backrest, the design presented an early structural challenge, carefully resolved through development to achieve a refined balance of visual lightness, comfort, and stability. The design is based on a dialogue between solid volumes and the slender leather backrest, creating a contrast that gives the chair a sculptural character. The offset positioning of the legs where they meet the backrest supports not only creates a distinctive feature but also facilitates stacking, making Adinne ideal for contract, hospitality, and communal spaces.
Adinne reinterprets the designer chair in solid wood and leather through a contemporary lens, where geometry, materials, and function coexist in perfect harmony. Designed for dining areas, meeting spaces, and hospitality environments, it combines comfort with a distinctive aesthetic, offering an ergonomic seating experience thanks to the flexibility of its leather backrest.

Designed by Leonardo Rossano, Adinne begins with a fundamental gesture: drawing by hand. Simple sketches sit at the heart of the project, serving as essential tools in the creative process and capturing the moment when an idea first takes shape in an intuitive, human way.

Adinne

Designed by Leonardo Rossano, the Adinne chair begins with a simple yet powerful creative gesture: hand-drawn sketches. These essential drawings form the foundation of the project, capturing the intuitive moment when an idea first takes shape. In a design world increasingly shaped by digital tools, data analysis, and advanced visualization, Adinne reaffirms the value of the human hand as a meaningful expression of authentic design thinking.

The chair is developed through a refined exploration of surfaces, proportions, and primary geometries. Solid wood cylindrical legs support the leather seat and backrest, creating a clean, architectural structure with a strong visual identity. This geometric precision is softened where the chair meets the body, allowing the form to adapt naturally to comfort and function.

Adinne’s deliberately sturdy solid wood legs give the chair its grounded and architectural presence. At the same time, the absence of a traditional rigid backrest creates a sense of lightness and openness. This structural challenge was carefully resolved through the product development process, resulting in a contemporary wooden chair that balances stability, comfort, and visual elegance.

With its distinctive combination of solid wood, leather upholstery, sculptural geometry, and refined craftsmanship, Adinne is ideal for dining rooms, meeting spaces, hospitality interiors, restaurants, cafés, and design-forward contract environments.
