Uno Modular Lounge Chair
UNO starts with a simple idea: make one great lounge chair, then give it the ability to become something more.
Used individually, UNO is a generously proportioned lounge chair with soft architectural geometry and a relaxed, low profile. Place several chairs side by side, and a discreet ganging system connects them into two-seat, three-seat, or longer sofa configurations.
Behind its upholstered form is an unconventional structure made from recycled polypropylene rather than a traditional wood frame. Molded foam creates the chair’s soft, supportive shape, while a removable zip-on fabric cover makes upholstery easier to replace or refresh over time.
This lightweight construction also makes UNO particularly adaptable. Individual chairs can be separated, moved, regrouped, and connected again as layouts change, allowing the same seating to evolve with the space.
Optional ottoman modules can be added alongside the lounge chairs to create open-ended extensions, chaise-like arrangements, or larger modular compositions.
Designed by Simone Viola, UNO brings together the comfort and simplicity of a standalone lounge chair with the flexibility of a modular seating system.
