Yılmaz Zenger

Born in 1933 in Ankara, Yılmaz Zenger transcended the realms of architecture, sculpture, and design to become a globally acclaimed figure. Graduating with a diploma in Architecture from Istanbul Technical University in 1958, he embarked on a multifaceted career that left an indelible mark on the world of art and urban planning.

Early in his professional journey, Zenger delved into city planning, contributing to academic projects and co-founding The Building Information Centre. His role as a board member for many years exemplified his dedication to advancing the field.

Beyond architectural pursuits, Zenger embraced the visual arts and sculpting, earning recognition both nationally and internationally. His artistic endeavors catapulted him into the realm of international art projects, personal exhibitions, and the creation of over 200 designs, spanning jewelry to furniture.

On August 2, 2018, Yılmaz Zenger departed, leaving behind a legacy of countless creative designs, monumental achievements, and an unwavering work ethic that continues to resonate. His impact on the artistic and architectural landscape endures, a testament to a life devoted to pushing boundaries and inspiring generations to come.
